My name is Linda Rebers-Hogervorst, I am 47 years old, married to Marcel for 21 years and we have 3 children aged 18, 16 and 12 years. We live in Berkel en Rodenrijs.

I have been working at the Franciscus Gasthuis in Rotterdam since 1993. I started a nurse student via the A-nurse in service training.

Since my graduation (1996) I have been working within the surgical cluster, the last 20 years as a cooperating senior nurse in the departments of Traumatology/Urology, Bariatrics and Surgical and Oncological GE/Lung surgery. In these departments I have

I was able to keep all (technical) nursing (reserved) actions up to date and I gained a lot of experience with palliative and terminal care. In addition, I have done many trainings and studies.

In my role as a senior I was able to defend the interests of the patient and the team and to coordinate these as much as possible. Always with one goal in mind: the quality of patient care. In addition, I have been department manager a number of times, always for a maximum of 1 year, in various departments within surgery.

In addition to my work as a nurse, I started as a teacher and lesson developer at Precision refresher courses more than 3 years ago. A company that provides customized training in healthcare. I think it’s great to be able to share my experiences and knowledge and thus contribute to the quality of care in the broadest sense.

Since January 1, 2021 I started as a self-employed nurse in technical home care. As a freelancer at FlexClinics in Utrecht, I am also involved in the development of a Stay Over and I provide postoperative nursing care after various operations.

In order to remain versatile and up-to-date, I became a nurse within the flex team in the Franciscus guest house since 1 October, leaving my regular department and position behind.
